There is some beautiful Lake District scenery on this ride and gazing down Ennerdale or towards Skiddaw or Blencathra is sure to inspire you. Beautiful towns like Keswick and interesting mining villages like Allenheads sit along the route to provide a warm welcome at the end of each day. You will find one of the most aspired to road climbs in the country over Hartside Pass and some challenging climbs around Nenthead and Weardale. Your reward however is a 30 mile cruise at the end, from high in the moors all the way down to the North Sea. Hi Pete, just a quick message to say thanks again for a top weekend, not sure i would have made it without your encouragement.
